"Bint Jbeil: Captured Memories" book release event  held

DEARBORN?- More than 100 people attended a book release event on Tuesday, Nov. 15 featuring editors Dr. Yehai Al-Shami, Hassan Ali Baydoun and Wadah Jomaa for the new title "Bint Jbeil:?Captured Memories," which is published in both English and Arabic and includes historical images of the well known south Lebanon village from between 1852 and 1980. Many Dearborn residents hail from the village. The book also includes a retrospective of historical events by writers such as Ibrahim Baydoun and Munther Jaber.
