Annual Chaldean Festival this weekend in Southfield
Thursday, 06.07.2012, 05:37am
The 7th Annual Chaldean Festival will be held June 8-10 in Southfield, in front of City Hall on Evergreen Road. The festival is an exciting and fun-filled event for families. There's food, live entertainment, games, a full carnival and traditional Chaldean dancing.  Several merchant tents will be set-up from various businesses in the region. The festival is popular among metro Detroit's large Chaldean community, and other communities who are interested in experiencing  Chaldean culture first hand. The event is an opportunity for others to learn about Chaldean Americans. The Festival is from 5-10 p.m. June 8, noon-10 p.m. June 9, and noon-10 p.m. June 10. Admission is free for all ages.
