2012 Miss Arab USA pageant is Palestinian American Suzanne Ziad Aslam

The winner of the 2012 Miss Arab USA pageant is Palestinian American Suzanne Ziad Aslam,  a 26 year old living in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is the eldest of four children born to Palestinian immigrants John and Mariam Yatim. Suzanne holds a bachelors degree in International Human Rights with a minor in Spanish from Webster University where she was the Vice President of the University's ONECampaign. She's also worked for the Progressive Youth Connection that teaches violence prevention and anti-bullying. Aslam has also been involved in several non-profits, and founded the Global Classroom Club in college. Additionally, she's an award winning film producer.
