Middle Eastern entrepreneurs launch new businesses in metro Detroit

The Arab American News is continuing to keep track of Middle Eastern entrepreneurs who’re launching new businesses across metro Detroit, and contributing to the region’s economic stability. Here’s our latest piece on some businesses that haven’t been open for a year, and are thriving. 

 

Dearborn’s new Brow Art 23 location expected to attract Arab American clientele

DEARBORN — With 170 locations throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Mexico, Brow Art 23 is the world’s largest company specializing in eyebrow threading.  It’s making its way to Dearborn with the launch of a new store in Fairlane Town Center near Sears in the old “Beautiful Eyebrows” space. A grand opening ceremony is scheduled for Feb. 15.

From a clinic out of state as well as practices in the Middle East, Dr. Fakih is very much in demand and it all started here in Michigan. Since 1998, the establishment of IVF Michigan, which includes locations in Dearborn, Saginaw, Flint, Ann Arbor, Brighton and Rochester, has given new hope to residents who are struggling with infertility.
