MDP Chair Mark Brewer issues statement on Ramadan

LANSING – Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer issued the following statement on the first day of Ramadan: "Muslim Americans here in Michigan and across the nation today mark the first day of Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual reflection. The Muslim-American community is an important part of our state's vibrant and diverse culture, and during this holy month, we can all share in their celebration of family and faith."
