Dearborn School District shuffles administrators

DEARBORN — Each year retirements and new assignments create the need to fill positions at a variety of schools. With the Board of Education officially approving several new staff positions at the August 27 meeting, the administration was able to move forward with additional placements and hirings.  

Here is a list of the administrative changes that have occurred since the end of the 2011-12 school year: 



Mr. Samuel Barna, Director, Business Services. 



Mr. Hassane Jaafar, Coordinator of Curriculum from Edsel Ford High School Principal 



Mr. Scott Casebolt, Principal Edsel Ford High School from Principal Smith Middle School 



Ms. Danene Charles, Principal Smith Middle School, from Assistant Principal Smith Middle School 



Mr. Dan Blessing, Assistant Principal Smith Middle School from Assistant Principal Edsel Ford H.S. 



Ms. Zeina Jebril, Assistant Principal Edsel Ford High School from Graduation Intervention Specialist.



Mr. Ibrahim Mashhour, Coordinator of Curriculum from Principal River Oaks Elementary



Mr. Joe Martin, Principal River Oaks Elementary from Assistant Principal Maples Elementary



Ms. Raeda Akroush, Assistant Principal Maples Elementary from Resource Teacher 



Ms. Amy Biolette, Principal McDonald Elementary from Coordinator Cotter Early Childhood·



Ms. Nadra Lamberti, Coordinator Cotter Early Childhood from Resource Teacher/Literacy Coach 



Ms. Stephanie Stover, Supervisor HFCC Child Development Center hired from outside the district 



Ms. Nada Fouani, Principal William Ford Elementary from Principal Becker Elementary 



Mr. David Higgins, Principal Becker Elementary from Assistant Principal William Ford Elementary



Mr. Kamel Bazzi, Assistant Principal William Ford Elementary from Teacher Becker Elementary



Mr. Mahmoud Abu-Rus, Principal Miller Elementary from Principal William Ford Elementary



Ms. Maysam Alie-Bazzi, Principal Woodworth Middle School from Assistant Principal Fordson H.S. 



Ms. Amal Alcodray, Assistant Principal Fordson from Counselor/Interim Assistant Principal Fordson



Ms. Martha Burch, Assistant Principal Fordson from Assistant Principal McCollough/Unis School



Mr. Fady Soueidan, Assistant Principal McCollough/Unis School from Assistant Principal Lowrey. Pending Board approval at the September 10 Board of Education meeting.

This allows us to promote from within, share expertise among buildings, and ultimately create a learning environment that will provide all students with a high quality education,” commented Mr. Brian Whiston, Dearborn Schools Superintendent.
