Salamey gears up for Election Day with grassroots initiative

DEARBORN — With less than four weeks to go until the general elections on November 6, 19th District Court Judge candidate Sam Salamey is shifting his campaign into high gear, capitalizing on the strong momentum built from his primary victory in August, which has since landed him an endorsement from AAPAC, who earlier this week announced that they will be officially supporting Salamey by including him on their Election Day slate.
U.S.: Romney assails Obama’s “passivity” in foreign policy, Middle East

WASHINGTON — In what was billed as a major foreign policy address, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney Monday assailed Barack Obama for "passivity" in the conduct of U.S. foreign policy, arguing that it was "time to change course" in the Middle East, in particular.
AAPAC issues endorsements, positions on crucial statewide proposals

DEARBORN — The Arab American Political Action Committee (AAPAC) announced its endorsements for the Nov. 6 General Election this week after its members convened at The Arab American News office here Monday evening for nearly three hours debating and voting on which candidates and statewide ballot proposals to support. 
New Poll: Romney tied with Obama, 45%-45%

UTICA, N.Y. -  A new Washington Times/Zogby Poll of 800 likely voters shows the presidential race back to a dead heat between President Barack Obama and former Governor Mitt Romney. The live telephone survey was conducted by Zogby Analytics last Friday through Sunday - the entire sample after both the October 3 debate and the Labor Department's release of new unemployment figures. 
Romney told 27 myths in 38 minutes

Pundits from both sides of the aisle have lauded Mitt Romney's strong debate performance, praising his preparedness and ability to challenge President Obama's policies and accomplishments. But Romney only accomplished this goal by repeatedly misleading viewers. He spoke for 38 minutes of the 90 minute debate and told at least 27 myths:
