According to reports, Hijazi, 37 was arrested by Southfield Police after she crashed her vehicle into a street sign on Southfield Road near Jeanette Street around 3:30 a.m. on Memorial Day. Police stated that Hijazi failed a sobriety test when she registered a .14 on her breath test.
Hijazi who previously lived in Clawson was on her way to Dearborn, where she had moved with her husband and children last month.
The next morning in court, Magistrate Donna Posey charged Hijazi with two felony counts; Opertating While Impaired and Child Endangerment. Her bail was set at $25,000 bond or surety.
