Bacall gets life sentence in shooting death of nephew

DETROIT — Detroit businessman Hayes Bacall, a Chaldean immigrant, has been sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted of first-degree murder in August of his nephew, Saif Jameel, at Jameel's BP gas station in Troy. 

Food stamp fraud raids net 11 suspects
